This handsome 2015, 16.2h bay OTTB gelding is the full package — athletic, classy, and kind. With 53 starts and over $120k in earnings, he’s made a smooth, successful transition to his second career.
He hunted a full season as a staff horse with Rolling Rock and has stepped in as the huntsman’s horse — bold, reliable, and loves the job. And is a pleasure to ride first field to boot. Currently schooling 3' courses, plenty of scope for more, an easy lead change, has cross-country schooled ditches, banks, and water confidently.
He’s forward with a lovely floaty trot, balanced canter, and a gallop you’ll love. Great ground manners, loads, travels well, easy to handle in all ways. Smile Bryan is the definition of a professional. With 57 starts and over $350,000 in career earnings, he retired from the track with the grit, soundness, and intelligence that only a true "war horse" possesses.
He is an elite athlete who has transitioned seamlessly into the sport horse world. On the flat, he is supple, correct, and elastic. Over fences, he is brave, careful, and remarkably adjustable, currently schooling 3'6" with significant scope for the upper levels. His foundation in the field is exceptional; a veteran of the Rolling Rock Hunt, he has hunted in the first field and served as a trusted whip horse. He is unflappable across cross-country questions, including water, ditches, and banks.
