The heart of the Stone Hill riding program is our "Faculty"—a hand-picked group of seasoned, reliable, and exceptionally talented horses who serve as the true professors of our barn. These horses provide the steady foundation upon which our students build their confidence, refine their skills, and develop their horsemanship. Whether they are teaching a rider their very first posting trot or guiding an advanced student over complex jumping questions, our Faculty approaches every lesson with patience, wisdom, and an unwavering work ethic. They are the pride of our farm and the steady partners that make everything we do possible.

A seasoned partner with a resume that spans the hunt field to the hunter/jumper ring, Glimmer brings a calm, methodical approach to every lesson. Whether she is teaching a beginner rider the rhythm of the post on the lunge line or carrying them over their first cross-rail, Glimmer is the definition of a "been there, done that" partner. With her comfortable gaits, quiet, honest jump, and endless patience, she is the pony every rider wishes they had in their early years. She is truly the backbone of our program and a mentor to all who ride her.
Cocoa: Dean of Students & Resident Mascot

At 20 years young, Cocoa is a "Steady Eddie" in every sense of the word. She is the ultimate babysitter for our smallest riders, possessing a calm, gentle nature that makes the learning process feel effortless.
Don't let her role as the barn mascot fool you, though; Cocoa is a seasoned fox hunter with a wealth of experience, quiet, rhythmic gaits, and an easy, honest jump.
She is the pony who builds lifelong memories and confidence, and we couldn't imagine Stone Hill without her.
